Tough news as Comenity Bank announces what will be a ended partnership with Virgin America. For a quick recap, Virgin America’s collaboration with Comenity Bank offered perhaps one of the best rewarding credit cards in Comenity Bank’s portfolio.
With Alaska Airlines acquisition of Virgin America, the Virgin America Premium Visa Signature must succumb to it’s dues. The cards will be closed as of January 04, 2018. Cardholders will still receive the same standard benefits throughout December 31, 2017. Seems like Bank of America has yet to even look into keeping the Virgin America credit card alive. Also, Comenity will not product change their existing cardholders to another product, which is a complete downer.
