Redeeming Cash Back
Unlike with other credit cards, you don’t have to do anything to redeem your rewards. Your cash back is paid to you in statement credit. It’s automatically credited to your account and will appear on the second billing statement you receive after the billing statement with the eligible purchases.
If you don’t pay the minimum payment due by the closing date of the billing period or you cancel your account before the credit is issued, Amex won’t pay out your rewards.
Although the SimplyCash Plus, being a no-annual-fee credit card, doesn’t offer the flashiest of perks, you can still enjoy a number of travel-related benefits. These include baggage insurance and travel accident insurance. You can also get purchase perks like extended warranty and purchase protection.
With expanded buying power, you can spend a certain amount over your credit limit each billing period. This amount will be determined by your credit history, financial history, use of the card, and other factors.
The amount you spend over your credit limit will need to be paid back in full along with your minimum payment for that period. If you don’t pay it back in full, then the high penalty APR will be applied to your entire account balance going forward.
If you have employees, you can provide up to 99 free employee cards. In addition, you can set individual spending limits. Though, there are certain purchases where the spending limit won’t apply, such as restaurant tips and extended hotel stays.
The primary cardholder is responsible for all charges made to the account. And, the card activity won’t affect the your employees’ credit.
