Style
As soon as you step foot into the HALL Arts Hotel, you’ll be greeted by an array of though-provoking artwork. The crisp and clean design of the space laid the perfect foundation to display the pieces by established and emerging artists. There are pink and red tambourines dangling from the ceiling, filling with quotes from prominent women throughout history. The emphasis on original art is seen throughout the property. The neon sculptures outside the conference center to the original photos in our room and the sweeping mosaic in the outdoor dining space.
Rooms
The HALL Arts Hotels impressively offers 28 types of rooms and suites, all designed by HKS Architects with interiors by Bentel & Bentel Every high-tech and art-filled space seamlessly blends beauty with practicality.
The HALL Supreme King Room came with curated photography of the Arts District, custom furnishings, and gorgeous views of the city. Frette linens, plush robes, in-room coffee and tea, and mini-fridge makes you feel at home. The individual steamer and complimentary WiFi are thoughtful touches as well. The spacious bathroom is furnished with dual master sinks, a huge shower, separate toilet stall, luxe towels, and Natura Bissee bath products by La Bottega.
Facilities
You can spend the afternoon at the hotel’s rooftop pool, soaking the warm Texas sun and relaxing with stunning skyline views. The 2,900-square-foot fitness center boasted floor-to-ceiling window, Matrix, and TRX equipment, along with Peloton cycling machines.
The hotel even houses 6,000 square feet of event space, and the chauffeured house car is available to take you anywhere within a 5-mile radius.
Food & Drink
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all available at the onsite restaurant, lounge, and terrace, Ellie’s. Chef Eric Dryer, Oprah Winfrey’s former personal chef, headed the eatery. They serve seasonal American cuisine made with farm-fresh ingredients. Standout dishes includes the cinnamon roll waffles for breakfast, the infamous Ellie’s burger for lunch and the Niman Ranch pork chop for dinner.
Service
The service at the HALL Arts Hotel was absolutely faultless. You don’t have to touch the front door while you stay, and enjoy a glass of HALL wine from Napa Valley at check in. Staff are incredibly accommodating, attending to your needs promptly. The service at Ellie’s is outstanding with servers anticipating your needs and desires.
Location
Located in the Dallas Arts District, HALL Arts Hotel was just steps away from Pritzker Prize-winning architecture, exceptional artwork in various forms and acclaimed eateries. There was plenty to do within walking distance, including a visit to the Cathedral Shrine of the Virgin Guadalupe, exploring the Nasher Sculpture Center, strolling through Klyde Warren Park, seeing a show at the Winspear Opera House, checking out the Dallas Museum of Art and so much more.
