After last weeks devastating Ink PayPal Digital Gifts and Cardcash coding update, it seems that GiftCard Mart is looking to fill the void that PPDG/CC left behind. GiftCard Mart will be doing some renditions to their merchant category code that would trigger the 5x Ultimate Rewards Points from the Ink Cash Business, 3x the points with the Ink Business PreferredSM as well as 3x the ThankYou Points on a Citi AT&T Access More Card.
Editor’s Note: GiftCard Mart recently made some changes towards their user interface, making their site so much more useful: Firstly, they’ve launched Barcoded/PDF eGift Card Vouchers for in-store usage where available on every gift card brand. Secondly, they’ve rolled out Instant Delivery on a limited basis for a majority of brands available under GiftCard Mart.

Conclusion:
GiftCard Mart recently changed their merchant coding to appeal to triggering rewards for Ink Business cards and Citi’s AT&T Access More card. The thing is, GiftCard Mart doesn’t necessarily have as much of a selection and inventory as their competitors. Hopefully, changing the merchant coding would open GiftCard Mart to a more wholesome accepting market. There’s also a good chance that CardCash will make it’s return, but we’ll just have to see.
