There’s no annual fee attached, however, I advise that it’s detrimental not to carry a balance on this card (unless you are partaking in a special financing offer that stresses no-interest), considering the 29.99% sky-rocketing regular APR. Ok so this is what their deal is.
No Interest if Paid in Full Within 12 Months**
No Minimum Purchase
On select brand†† purchases made with your Musician’s Friend Platinum Card. Interest will be charged to your account from the purchase date if the promotional purchase is not paid in full within 12 months. Minimum monthly payments required
It says zero interest but it’s also says APR 29.99% . Does that mean I’ll pay 29.99% of the purchase price. Say it’s a 300$ item, will I pay 330 for the item? Then it is split into 12 monthly payments with no more interest? Unless I can’t pay then I’ll be charged 29.99% for all 12 months. So, 12×30 =360+the330 . So I’d pay around 700$ for a 300$ item. Help?
