Sam’s Club Mastercard or Mastercard Business cardholders will not receive cash back on tobacco product and smoking related products (e-cigs,etc.,) starting November 1, 2017. A quick reminder, this card earns 5% cashback on gas(on first $6,000 per year in purchases, then 1% on purchases after), 3% cashback on dining and travel and 1% cashback on other purchases. Of all evidence, Sam’s Club is moving away from tobacco product in general and it could be a good move.
