You heard right. Samsung Pay just picked up support from Chase Bank, one of the more important bank figures that Samsung needs in its push to work with all debit cards. Chase Visa cardholders can now pay for their purchases directly from the newest Samsung devices: Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy Note 5, and Galaxy S6 Edge+.
Chase is a valued partner in our ongoing launch of Samsung Pay. As consumers increasingly rely on their mobile devices in their everyday lives, our work with Chase as well as our other partners will only enhance the mobile experience and convenience for our customers and give them even more flexibility and choice for how to pay.

Samsung Pay already supported Visa, Master Card, and American Express credit cards, but debit card compatibility was always a strugle because it depended on if the bank was on board. After a few months of convincing, Bank of America, Citi, U.S. Bank. and now Chase are all supported on the mobile payment system
