USAA released their USAA Limitless™ Cashback Rewards Visa® Signature not too long ago and one of the key aspects about this card is that it offered 2.5% cash back on all purchases when you receive direct deposits of $1,000 or more, otherwise, 1.5% cash back. There’s no annual fee, nor foreign transaction fees making it perhaps the perfect cash-back card.
I’ve previously mentioned some limitations to those that live outside of USAA’s eligibility radar, however, it seems that that will be changing September 17, 2017 as USAA introduces the card availability nationwide.

- Active Military: Individuals who are currently serving in the U.S. Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marines and Navy.
- Former Military: Those who have retired or separated from the U.S. military with a discharge type of Honorable.
- Commissioning Programs: Cadets and midshipmen currently enrolled in U.S. service academies, advanced ROTC or on ROTC scholarship, Officer Candidate School or Officer Training School.
- Family: Widows, widowers and un-remarried former spouses of USAA members who had USAA auto or property insurance while married and individuals whose parents have or had USAA auto or property insurance.
USAA Limitless 2.5% Cashback Card Updates Summary:
- The card will soon be available nationwide, September 17, 2017.
- There will be options to how you qualify for 2.5% cash back including:
- Receive a direct deposit of $1,000 or more (current requirement)
- Receive $2,000 total deposits of any size
- Average a daily balance requirement
- Acquire insurance and some brokerage product from USAA.

- 2.5% cash back on all purchases if you have a $1,000 monthly direct deposit into your USAA checking account

Conclusion:
This card is absolutely phenomenal, perhaps introducing innovative criterias for cash back reward cards everywhere; a higher cash back reward with direct account relationship. The USAA Limitless™ Cashback Rewards Visa® Signature earns you 2.5% Cash Back when you receive direct deposit of $1,000 or more, $2,000 in total deposits, maintain an average daily balance req., or acquire insurance and some brokerage product from them. We’ll fully confirm the last two optional requirements when the time comes, but I’m rather exuberant on this card being released nationwide! Wait on it, September 17, 2017.
