Now, most of the cards that Comenity has to offer... are flat-out inadequate to say the least, after offering a 10% to 20% on first purchase after approval at specific stores, the card will then throw in a couple uninspiring rewards here and there. Some of the cards comes with Birthday freebies at a specific store, but keep in mind there's usually a minimum spending requirement attached to it and it cannot be combined with any other offer.
Considering if you shop at one specific store a lot, it may be worth checking out to see if the rewards program offered suits you. I don't mean to demoralize anyone currently looking into Comenity's cards, because there are a few cards that do have some interesting benefits attached that we'll be taking great consideration into blogging about!
Virgin America
*Comenity Bank recently announced what will be a ending partnership with Virgin America. *
Be aware, this card may not be worth it unless you fly a lot with Virgin America. This card is the only card in Comenity's profile that offers Airline Co-brand rewards and perks in Black (Visa Signature) and White (Premium Visa Signature). The sign up bonus sometimes even reaches 20,000 for the Virgin America Black Card and 30,000 points for the Virgin America White Card. The only flaw I can really find is that there's no waived annual fee, Black VISA is $49, and White VISA is $149.
Marathon Visa
Failing gas prices are a good news for Marathon VISA cardholders, because when gas falls, the value of your rebate increases because the rebate value is fixed per gallon. To find out your reward value: dividing your per gallon reward by the price of gas. Now the biggest issue with this card is that it's not a national gas provider and may not be beneficial for most people that don't have a Marathon Gas Station in the area.
BJ’s Mastercard
If you shp at BJ's frequently, this may be a great option for you! The BJ's Mastercard is beneficial for BJ's In-Club and BJs.com purchases and could earn you 5% cash back on your purcahses and 10 cents off per gallon of gass at BJ's select gas stations. Now the only flaw is that it'd be rather troublesome to get 5% back on BJ's wholesale club.
Easiest Comenity Bank Credit Cards Approvals
Comenity cards do offer easy to earn credit cards through Shopping Cart Trick. Now, out of all the cards that Comenity has to offer with Shopping Cart Tricks, most customers recommend Overstock and Victoria Secret Cards. Be sure not to have pop-up blocker on!

I’ve been happy with Comenity Bank thus far. Haven’t have any real significant problems, I have Total Rewards Visa, Toyota Rewards Signature Visa, Gander Mountain Master Card, etc.
Comenity is by far the worst credit company I have ever dealt with! When it comes to both customer service as well as their process reliability. I have had 3 of their store cards. None of which were able to set up automatic payments, edit due dates, AND I just found out that I was charged late fees even when payments were made within the billing cycle!! As far as the late fees went, according to them, I made the payment too early!!
How do you make a payment too early
You can make a payment too early.. If you make a payment before the billing cycle is closed, thinking “hey I made a payment I am good” well your not. Once that cycle is closed, they will bill you again. Ex if your payments are due every 20th of the month. Your billing cycle closes out on the 11th. If you made a payment for March on the 9th before the 11th they will want another payment due on the 20th.. Anything before the billing cycle is closed is considered as a credit not payment. I had that issue with my Quicksilver account with Capital One… BUT they did waive that one time late free because I am never late. I hope this helps.
Yes that happened with me with NYC&co. I paid prior to the New bill think it would go towards next billing cycle. I found out the hard way as well but, they were kind enough to take off the late pay when I called to ask what the heck was going on. Lol
I have the Victoria Secret, True Value Discover, and Children’s Place cards. Haven’t had a problem out of any of them.

No it’s only the store card, but the True Value discover can be used anywhere, they also offer the True Value store card and it’s only for the store.
You can also use Victoria secret card a bed bath and body.

Does children’s place have pop ups or is it in store
I have gotten SCT to work on many for commenity. I am having no luck with VS however, i think it might be due to my surname in my credit profile and the VS web order system doesn’t allow me to use it at all in my last name field. With 3 mid teen to early 20’s daughters, the VS card would get plenty of love.

Yea same I am trying so hard for the chaimdrens palce! And GameStop! But no luck so far! I was preapproved first for jd willaims about a month ago and simply be for 250 and 200..and nothing else would work my score went up 26 points from those two now last night I FINALLY got preapproved for VS! 250 and buckle 250..Buckle said I was preapproved for 4,500 ..I almost died…then it gave me 250 lol…I’m really trying for overstock or Boscovs and children’s place and GameStop ..I’ll be a happy camper! My sons bday is Thursday and GameStop would REALLY REALLY help!! But it really works! A few months ago I couldn’t get a THING.. it feels so good to finally have some credit! Also almost a month ago I applied for VS and was denied a week later my score went up 26 points and boom last night preapproved
Comenity Bank Pottery Barn credit card is the lowest professional business I have ever worked with. If they owe you A credit it can take over a month to get your money refunded. Don’t believe the date they give you for when you will be refunded as much as 4500 dollars as they will hold on to it as long as possible even if you never exchange goods with Pottery Barn. The still owe me 166.83 and state it was mailed on Oct 29th but as if 11/12 I have still not received it. Horrendous customer service from Pottery Barn and Comenity Credit.

I’m having issues with this, i think initially due to the browser I was using.
I had one pop up for me (this was for Overstock) but then I couldn’t get it to complete and accept.
If our info is in the store’s website/system and we’re getting their emails – will this popup reappear at some point again in the future – or does this process work *only* at the time you set up a brand new account with brand new info ??
It took me 6 months…..BEFORE you go to their website clean your browser history. Go their website and put something simple in your website. Sign in FIRST – Checkout, when you do you will get it. My credit limit is 1K; it took a while. It finally came.
they will not let you change your payment due date. i am on disability. my check come on the second Wed. of each month. sometimes i don’t always get my check by the 10th. so the slap me with late fee of $37. i have not trying to get out of paying them. but i will never be able to pay them off

Generally that means you were not approved. If you are approved, they tell you immediately.
not really. i just got the “we will send a letter” when asking for a credit line increase. the letter arrived i called and said that the reason given was not accurate (not having enough open and active accounts). I have 14 trade lines that i pay down to zero every month. Only had $1,500 as a credit limit, i called them and told them i didn’t agree with their letter, they transferred me to underwriting who took another look at my account and withing 90 seconds they approved me for $4,500
Not all the time. Express told me they would get back to me, then sent me a letter to verify my info. Once I did that they sent me my Exoress card in the mail.
I applied to Overstock, HSN, H3 Wellness and one other Mastercard of theirs. I also got the message that said they are reviewing my account and will send me a response in 7-10 days. I automatically assumed I didn’t get approved. $ letters came the same day. I immediately felt them to see if I felt a card in there but I didn’t. I threw them away without opening them, didn’t want to see another turn down notice like I get all the time. Something kept telling me to get them out of the trash and open them. It said i just needed to verify information and gave me an 800 number to call. i called and they approved me for all 4 and I had high credit limits. So open them up!!
Open them. Sometimes they need to verify who you are. Most of mine did that.
If you receive letters, open them and call the number provided. They are going to ask you to verify your identity and then you will be approved. I have applied for about 10 cards thus far. The first few went through without hiccup, the others told me the decision was under review. With each of those, I received a letter. I called, answered three questions and viola! Don’t fret! Just wait on the letters and make the call. The trick is working for me! I plan on applying for EVERY card they offer! Some of these stores, I can’t even shop at, but that doesn’t matter to me, not one bit! Good luck!
I applied for a VS card about a month an a half ago online, and was told they would review it. 2 weeks later I got my card in the mail. My card isnt that great so i was surprised that I got approved.
I applied about a month ago and thought maybe I might get approve but I got a letter telling me that I wasntbecause I couldn’t apply twice with in 30 days. This is not the case anymore. Comenity is actually very committed to customer service and has done a lot of upgrading in the last few years. Please contact customer care and they will be able to change your due dates for you.
No problems encountered with this bank. If one is in need of a card this is the easiest way to obtain one.
Hi Christ, I’m sorry to hear of your illness but, I too have beem ill and on supplementary disability. I called them to change my due date and they allowed me to do so with no problem. I believe you can do it once a yr. If i were you I would call back to speak to a supervisor and set your due date as late as possible
