If you’re a fan of the Ritz-Carlton brand, then you’ll love this downtown high-rise. Since this building also houses condos, the overall vibe is discreet and residential. We love the calming hues, white, neutrals, and hints of pastel inspired by the sun, the sea, and the hills that define Los Angeles. A favorite public space was the Club Lounge, with beautiful, comfortable furnishings and floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase views of the Pacific Ocean on clear days.
Rooms
All guestrooms at the Ritz-Carlton starts at 450-square feet and feature feather beds, down pillows, and 400 thread-count linens. Our Executive King Room sat on the corner of the building, so the gorgeous, 180-degree views of both the mountains and the ocean. The spacious bathroom boasted Italian marble vanities with dual sinks. Additionally, it comes with a built-in mirror television, a walk-in shower with separate soaking tub, and Asprey bath amenities.
Facilities
The Ritz Carlton Spa, Los Angeles encompasses an impressive 8,000 square feet, the largest in Downtown L.A., and comes with a couples suite, a co-ed sanctuary, a hair salon, a boutique, and separate lounges. ESPA products and locally-sourced ingredients are used, which include herbs and botanicals harvested directly from the hotel’s rooftop garden. Food & Drink
The Ritz-Carlton houses two food and dining options in the hotel. WP24 by Wolfgang Puck, which is found on the 24th floor, serves Chinese cuisine with a modern touch. Nest at WP24 features Asian-inspired snacks, appetizers, sushi, and large plates which are complimented by craft cocktails and wine.

Service
The service at the Ritz-Carlton is friendly and professional. However, the service isn’t above and beyond. You’ll be given a map, but no one will tell you there’s a passageway that connects to the lobby to the JW Marriott, where more food and drink options are. The concierge is very helpful, and will assist you with printing documents.
Location
The Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles lies in the middle of Downtown L.A. are attached to the JW Marriott in the L.A. Live Center. It comes with a large restaurant and entertainment complex. The area is far from most of the city’s attractions, but if you’re going to the Staples Center for a sporting event.
The Nokia Theater for a concert, or to the Convention Center for a business meeting, then the location is perfect. Universal Studios is a 15-minute drive away, the Beverly Hills, Santa Monica Beach and the Los Angeles International Airport is 20 minutes away without traffic.
