This elegant Art Deco hotel is designed by architect Leland A. Bryant. Recently, it’s been redesigned, the new Sunset Tower pays homage to the hotel’s history but with a dash of glitz and glamour. The Lawrence Weiner art installation in the Terrace Bar, the black marble basins, and iconic gold wallpaper by pop artist Donald Robertson. These are all the things that breathe new life to this legendary property.
Rooms
The Sunset Tower comes with 81 guestrooms, 30 are suites. All of them feature floor-to-ceiling windows, fine Egyptian linens, custom furnishings, and complimentary Nespresso. However, it was the bathroom in the 250-square foot Deluxe King room that takes the spotlight with their signature gold wallpaper, huge shower, and Kiehl’s toiletries.

Food & Drink
Housed in Bugsy Siegel’s old apartment on the ground floor, the Tower Bar and Restaurant comes with fresh local ingredients with Italian and French twists. Additionally, if you don’t want to leave the pool, you can order the entire Tower Bar menu at the Terrace. It comes with assorted small bites and beverages. Past restaurant patrons swear by the classic Tower Burger, but the Classic Club is far from disappointing.
Service
Dedicated, friendly, and efficient, the service at the Sunset Tower is everything you’d want from a five-star hotel. People from the bell boys to reception staff and the maitre d, performed above and beyond expectation. The delicious, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies offered with turndown service was the icing on the cake.

The Sunset Tower Hotel is right on the Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, bordering Beverly Hills. This hotel is directly across the street from Saddle Ranch, and the Comedy Store is just down the street. The Getty Museum and Santa Monica Beach is a 30-minute drive away.
