This building oversees the National Parks Service, the Old Post Office’s striking Romanesque façade and clock tower remains unchanged. Not to mention, the original marble floors, wood-paneled walls, suspended steel walkways, and vintage radiators are inside as well. The grand atrium lobby is pompously opulent, which comes with period furnishings fused with the Trump touch. Tufted Federal blue sofas and chairs with gold accents, handwoven rugs, and lots of crystal chandeliers.

All 263 rooms and suites at The Trump Hotel comes with a classical European style. It’s decorated in soft cream, silver, and Federal blue palette with bursts of red and gold. The Premier King Room comes with a 14-foot ceiling, sparking chandelier, polished wood furnishings, and thick wool carpets. Service at the Trump Hotel matches the decor: over-the-top, but in a good way. The staff are anticipatory, and know what you want before you even know what you want. For example, the server at BLT Prime switched our white napkin for a black one. Just because we were wearing black.
