- Continue the check-out process until you reach the final page. If you have not received an offer, then you will have try again or try another website. Again, you do not have to purchase anything. The process of going to the final checkout page increases your chance of an offer to pop up.
- Accept the offer and complete the application.
Note: Be sure to enter the same information that is on your credit report when you're applying for the credit card. If they cannot verify your identity, then you will not be eligible for the card.

I have found this site so helpful for me, I’ve been approved for VS, NY& CO, The Limited, Express and Boscov’s all with the a soft pull only asked for the last 4 digits of my social. I didn’t accept Boscov’s offer however I wonder if I decide to apply will me not accepting offer elimintate any future offers via their company or if I tried again in the upcoming weeks? I’m happy to have a fresh start some of these places I can definitely utilize for work attire so maybe I’ll make small purchases every other month. The CL were from 250-500 I’m grateful that I have a start to help me continue my process of rebuilding credit. Ive seen higher starting limits with the Comenity Capital cards, you should try for those if you want a higher starting limit. Its not a guarantee!!!
Some of them that I know of personally are:
Boscovs, Sportsman Guide, HSN, Pottery Barn.
Me nd BF got all of these via SCT with starting limits of: 1500, 2500, 3000, & 2000
Boscovs now at 3500 after 45 days and PB at 2800 the same day i got it
He also received a higher limit with Sportsman Guide Visa than me his is $3000
The very first SCT card we tried back in May was Victorias Secret which only started at $500. we have never used it and it still has not reported. thankfully bc thats our only regret, neither of us shop there and limit is low compared to others but was our very first pop up. I’ve since looked into the others above and it worked out great. his credit score before we started rebuilding was 517 now 706 w Transunion. but we also started out w a secured card through opensky$200 nd disputed a bunch of old medical judgements. whiched def worked in our favor, you really only need a couple cards to rebuild. i know once his VS does finally report itll bring his score down just bc of too many new cards in short time frame but itll eventually recover but anyway this is our experience and i hope some of this can help you.
Hello Sue thanks for the information!! I’m ok with cards for now credit is going in the right direction just need to dispute some old medical bills as well which I’m over my head right now about. It’s a slow process but hopefully once I’m clear of all negative information I’ll be ok.
So far I got VS, Buckle, Express, Boscovs, Loft, J Crew, NY&C, & The limited, all using the SCT.. Most of the SL $250 except VS & NY&C.. I tried so many times to get it to work with pacsun but it wouldn’t so I just applied bc I really wanted that card & I got approved for $250..
I did the SCT for all of those cards June 2016..
I cannot get buckle to work to save my life. So far it has worked at VS, Express, NY & Co, Woman Within and Avenue. Really want Buckle and Overstock.

Also just got Limited and Lofton to work as well.

So, I’ve done this trick 3 times today and have been successful, don’t know if the order matters because Express didn’t give me the pop-up at first, but I tried again after the other cards and I got it:
Victoria Secret $350 CL
NY & Co 500 CL
Express Unknown CL, but approved!
Remember you don’t have to purchase anything. Once you get approved just clear the items out of your cart.
how do you do this. I have tried every thing. Signing up for emails clearing history. Putting items in my cart. Where does these pop ups come in at. Please some one tell me what i am doing wrong.
The two credit card companies most likely need to have your info on file. It must also match exactly – address, name, etc. to what they have to make the connection. You also have to be opted in to receive credit card offers. Once you have a few cards with them, they will also limit the shopping cart offer. I had gotten a West Elm and Pottery Barn both at $2000 each with this trick but could not get the Crate & Barrel one to work. But, when I applied I got the card and they gave me a $7000 line of credit. Overstock gave me $1000 and then bumped it up to $2000 after my first order of $150 was paid back in full on the first statement.
I have a couple cards with this company. I have tried every thing today and to no avail. I cannot get any pop ups at all. I have opted in to recieve credit card offers, tryed blocking pop ups unblocking pop ups. Using my exact address, name, ect and nothing. I sign up for the emails and all offers. I just can’t seem to get this to work for me:( I wish there was some thing i could do, a las i guess i must admitt defeat.
The popup’s do not get limited. I know of people who have 40+ cards with Comenity Bank and Comenity Capital Bank.

I haven’t gotten the west elm yet. But ny & company, express and Loft/Ann Taylor came up since my last post on the 24th of June. Pacsuns site says they are no longer taking credit applications. Coldwater no longer does them either.

Pacsun no longer. I received a popup for Coldwater Creek last night (09/17/16).
Just got preapproved for Cold-water Creek this year. But, they did a hard pull with Equifax when I accepted their MC.
I got west elm with a 2000 limit.
I did as well just the other day. 2K limit
I received west elm with a limit of $1500 immediately with a credit score in the low 600 to high 500. SCT works no matter what. The limits increase over time. I got a Overstock card with a $250 limit in July, and I’ve been increasing once a month. It’s at $850 now. Some will increase easy and some won’t. West elm hasn’t yet. It will eventually…
I got a west elm card with 2000.00 starting now up to 3600.00 in 5 months.
I’m having a hard time with the cart, meaning I have not been able to get ANY card. Do you know if it has to be a certain amount in the cart? Like west elm, did you have a certain amount? Or it just worked for you because of one item?.
I was able to get the pop ups for the following in the month of June 2016: Jcrew, Buckle, Overstock, Victoria Secrets, Boscovs, HSN, Avenue, The Limited. All without a hard pull. Wayfair and Frontgate BOTH dd a HP! I haven’t gotten any other of the sites to direct me with the popup, yet. 🙂
Did you try Pottery Barn? SL for me was 2k, I just received my card in the mail this morning…i called up robo lady asked for increase and BAM! another 800 bucks! When i got the popup for PB they asked for full social but it was a Soft Pull! NO hard hit for PB via ShoppingCart Trick… for me. Furniture type stores generally give out better SL just fyi
Oh try Sportsman Guide – there Visa gives pretty generous limits. my SL is 2500 my bf was 3000. you should try shopping cart trick there, since its a VISA! crappy apr just dont carry a balance

How did adding these cards affect credit scores? I have a lot of old bad debt and only a new auto loan for current. My ck scores are 528 for tu and 586 of eq. I’m wondering how much just getting the cards is going to help me. I got Buckle, The Limited, Overstock, and Ann Taylor. I haven’t gotten the Stage pop-up or the Vs pop up, even though those are the two I would actually use.
does anyone know if i accept the card through sportsman and they ship it to my old address would i be able to call and tell them i filled in my old address by accident when checking out or will that result in a hard pull just inquiring? and then asking to ship somewhere else (new address)? I really want this card and ive tried updating address with equifax just to get it and i havent heard a thing from the dispute not even a confirmation that they are looking into the updating of my personal info. so frustrating!
